I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. John 16:33 (NLT)
In the context of heightened world tension brought about by coronavirus epidemic and global warming we greet you our dear friends with our Lord’s shalom and the assurance that through Him we will be overcomers and not be overwhelmed.
A PRAYERFUL LIFE
The students of Emmanuel Community School know how to pray and move the hands of God to act in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
School principal Visot, and staff members gave talks to the students on preventive measures against the spread of transmittal disease.
DOING GOOD WORKS: Vice-principal Sela, led some staff and students to bring some relief to the family in the neighbourhood whose house was burnt down.
WORSHIP & PRAYER
Integral part of learning and living at Emmanuel.
That’s always being our hope for Emmanuel Community School.
Our heartfelt thanks for your prayer and encouragement. We were pleasantly surprised recently when the school in Wellington where Gloria, our granddaughter is attending, raised some funds to purchase books for the ECS school library. Over the past year several churches, Christian and secular organisations, family members and individuals came to Cambodia to minister at ECS.
Without God, we cannot. Without us, God cannot. The quote by St Augustine appropriately summed up what God is doing at ECS. God bless you!
In Christ’s Agape-love,
Ps Teresa & Tim
