2017 Third Quarter Report: Hope in Cambodia

Dear Friends & Partners,

Greeting In the glorious name of Jesus Christ.

“But because God loves, everything was changed … Emmanuel Community School gave hope for the poor … a chance to chase after their dreams”

Grade 6 student, Srey Pheak, testified.

Her testimony sums up well the very purpose we are partnering to do in Cambodia – giving hope to the children from poor families through the provision of excellent primary and secondary school education founded on Christian principles.

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27 (NIV)

Emmanuel, the Hope of Glory

Visot & Chorvin, Ps. Phally & Jenny

Emmanuel School principal, Visot and his wife, Chorvin, Pastor Phally and his wife, Jenny.

For the three of them it had been the first time they ever left Cambodia and flew on an aeroplane.

They attended the Victory Life Conference (Sep 19-20) that left a deep impression on them, most particularly, in personal and corporate worship and in dwelling deeper into God’s Word.

The team entertained the crowd with a Khmer gospel song at the funds raising high tea party hosted by Maria and Daniel Narayanan (they were in a previous short term mission team to Cambodia).

The team fellow-shipped at Zion Praise Harvest church in an event catering for all who might be interested to be part of the annual short term mission trip to Cambodia.
